Queensland National Party Senator Barnaby Joyce has shocked his political colleagues with his announcement that he would support a Federal Labor Government's repeal of the draconian WorkChoices legislation.
The wheels are well and truly falling off the Coalition bandwagon with 3 days to go to the most-important Federal election in decades.
After being caught with his pants down over funding irregularities, the Deputy Prime Minister Mark Vaile has been forced to make a humiliating public apology for his personal attack on the Commonwealth Auditor-General Ian McPhee.
When the Auditor-General exposed irregularities in the processes involved in approving grants under the Regional Partnerships Program, Mark Vaile went into overdrive questioning Mr McPhee's independence and professionalism.
Now, he should really come clean and fess up to the unprecedented, large scale pork-barrelling under the program which saw massive amounts injected into marginal Coalition electorates at the expense of equally-deserving Labor electorates.
