The Federal Health Minister Tony Abbott attacks Bernie Banton - the terminally ill, wheelchair bound asbestos campaigner - and is forced to apologise.The next day he turns up half an hour late for a nationally-televised debate with his Opposition counterpart Nicola Roxon, apologises profusely and then proceeds to abuse Ms Roxon and swear at her.
Many voters would hope that his new title of "The Late Mr Abbott" might answer all their dreams about this political troglodyte.
