"This film, which was produced by Queensland company Pictures in Paradise and filmed in Queensland in 2008, is yet another example of the strength of the Queensland screen industry," Ms Bligh said.
"The film is a psychological thriller about a yachting expedition that goes wrong after the boat is struck by mysterious weather conditions.

Daybreakers),
Triangle was filmed at a variety of Queensland locations including Warner Roadshow Studios and the Queensland Maritime Museum.
"This production received nearly $650,000 from my government through Screen Queensland; in turn helping to generate $13.8 million in flow on economic activity and creating 284 jobs," Ms Bligh said.
Screen Queensland CEO Maureen Barron said the release of
Triangle followed on from other major releases this year.
"Queensland recently saw the premiere of three productions filmed in North Queensland with World War II television drama
The Pacific, World War I feature film
Beneath Hill 60, and the fourth series of the popular drama

"Another Queensland feature film,
Daybreakers, was released in February," Ms Barron said.
"Now to follow it up with the release of yet another Queensland-made film just shows the momentum Queensland has at the moment."
"This strength of the Queensland industry continues to create entertaining stories and forge a reputation globally," Ms Barron said.
