A Queensland scammer, who claimed to have a secret method to predict future lottery draws, has been ordered to repay tens of thousands of dollars to victims of his scheme.

Gold Coast entrepreneur Constantine 'Con' Barris set up the website, Powerballwin.com.au, and distributed 163,000 flyers to households across Australia, which claimed he had made "...an amazing discovery that disputes the theory of random probability and has totally shocked the experts."

Duped customers paid a $59 subscription fee in order to receive a series of predicted numbers to help win all divisions of Powerball.
