Another internet scam hits Australia. It's time for the Federal Government to act.

The international internet email scams continue to hit unsuspecting computer users in Australia.

Another one hit today offering one million British pounds in exchange for personal information.

Of course, the next step is to secure the target's bank details and strip their account or demand a hefty fee to finalise payment of the million pounds.

The scammers then disappear as fast as a beaten politician.

These scams are hitting Australia almost every day.

The Federal Government must act immediately to ensure all Australian ISPs and all internet connections into Australia are required to filter these bogus emails and boot them into cyber space oblivion.

How many more families must be hurt financially before the Federal Government acts?

Mr Rudd - please act now before more Australians are hurt.
